A ministry of House of Instruction

Restoration Week

A set-apart week on the land in Branson, Missouri, built around the man as priest of his home. Teaching from His Word, prayer together, and quiet time alone with Him.

For families

Restoration Week

For a man with his wife and children along. The men's teaching is at the center of the week. Wives may join two optional classes, For the Wife and For the Mother, and have their own quiet times with Him. Children have their own program each morning with trained, background-checked volunteers.

On the last morning, each father blesses his family before they go home.

For men

Restoration Week for Men

The same heart, for men coming on their own. Teaching, prayer with other men, and time alone with Him, without the family classes and children's program.

On the last morning, the team blesses each man before he goes home.

The week

Doers of the Word, not hearers only

Each teaching leads into group prayer, and then into the Secret Place. Each man takes one question, a notepad, and his own marked spot on the land, and spends the hour alone with Him (Matthew 6:6). He returns to the same spot all week.

Before arriving, each man reads Covering: A Path to Becoming the Priest of Your Home. Before leaving, he writes a plan for leading his home, so he goes home equipped to lead without needing us.

Men who want to go deeper may add a private session with two members of the team. Sessions are prayer and ministry from Scripture. They are not counseling and are not a substitute for professional or medical care.

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only." James 1:22
